Cough 052 - [Accidental Video]

[The PCD turns on to show a figure wrapped up in a blanket, long white hair spilling over his shoulders. Ukitake is on the roof, though it isn't apparent as to why, but that's not important. All he's doing is staring out over the city, the chill in the air tinging his pale cheeks pink. And when he speaks, whether it's to himself or an unseen person is unknown, his voice is soft, quiet.]

Just a captain without his soldiers.

[He goes silent again for a few moments, but then chuckles to himself, a hand reaching out to the sword resting beside him, his fingers lightly trailing over the scabbard.]

That's silly of me to say. Kuchiki-san is here and others could show up any day, though I wouldn't wish this curse upon them.

[He sighs and places his palm flat against the scabbard now.]

I need a goal, Sougyo no Kotowari. I can only sit back and watch for so much longer.

[He looks back out across the expanse before the PCD shuts off.]

_{[Urahara almost bounces inside, tugging Ukitake after him as he moves towards the bedroom.]}

You still got sick!

[And Ukitake barely manages to close the door.]

It could happen to anyone. Even Hitsugaya-taichou got sick.

His zanpakutou also happens to be ice based.

_{[Bedroom, bedroom... Ah! Bedroom!]}

It was the sudden weather change, you know that.

[Good job, Urahara. It's the only unoccupied room.]

Sitting out in the cold and then not getting a decent night's sleep hardly helps either.

_{[Dragging you to the bed now~]}

[He's not going to win. Ever. Shirou curse.]

One night will not kill me.

[SIGH.]

_{[Wagging fan at now.]}

No arguing~!

[So tempted to take that damn toy away from you.]

_{[The fan is insulted. It's not a toy!

And, have a gentle push to get you into the bed.]}

[And down he goes, feeling more and more awkward by the second.]

_{[And down come the blankets onto Ukitake's head. For the third time.

By the time Ukitake's got them off though, Urahara is moving. Towards the door.]}

Good night, Ukitake-taichou~!

[And he just stares, unsure of what has just happened.]

_{[A grin over the shoulder. He just wanted to get you off of the roof and out of the cold, Ukitake. Getting you into bed is just a bonus.]}

Don't tell me you're sad to see me go~

[And he falls for it. Damnit, he falls for it.]

You took me by surprise, is all.

And why is that~?

[He shakes his head and, again, fixes his hair.]

_{[Well... If you're not going to answer, Urahara's just going to move back to the bed with a small smirk.]}

Did you not want me to go~?

You may do as you like, Urahara-san.

And if I wanted to spend the night with you~?

...Within reason.

Ah... I'm hurt that Ukitake-taichou doesn't want me to spend the night here...

You can stay here, just not...with me.

[Don't make him explain it, Urahara. It wouldn't be pretty.]

What do you mean?

_{[Makes him explain it.]}

[Damn you, man.]

You know what I mean.

I'm rather afraid that I don't... I merely want to make sure that Ukitake-taichou doesn't fall sick due to stress put upon his body from lack of sleep.
