Cough 015 - [Video Post]

[The video starts with a shot of Ukitake, looking even paler than usual, and without his trademark smile.  In short, he looks like hell.  The lack of sleep lately doubled with his now-weakened state is taking its toll on him.]

[Sniffle.]  I just...want to tell everyone not to visit me.  This week.  I'm not feelin-

[Suddenly, he coughs violently and the PCD tumbles out of his hand, landing so we see the ceiling, his coughing still echoing in the background.  After a moment, the coughing finally ends and he picks up the PCD, a mug of tea in his free hand.  As he speaks this time, his voice is quieter.  He doesn't want to elicit that reaction again.]

Ungh...apologies.  As I was saying, I'm not feeling too well.  [Sniffle.]  I don't...want to get anyone sick.  Just...

[He gently waves the tea mug about for a second, then sighs.] 

Never...never mind.

[He shuts off the feed.]
