[And now it's time for another fireside chat with Ukitake-taichou.]

I trust everyone is staying safe out there.

[We'll ignore the couple of posts that seem to tell differently for now. No reason to worry the masses!]

It has been stressful as of late and with a new event starting, do be careful and aware. Locking your doors is a good safety measure to take, or putting up barriers, anything of the sort. Protect yourself! It would be a shame to see destruction again.

[Squall moved his ass double time to get to the house which was his first one in Adstringendum. It was weird to be back here and knocking on a door that used to be his.

Hesitantly he raised his gloved hand and knocked on the door, and not for the first time wondered what would happen.]

Uki..it's me.

[As was custom with Ukitake, he sat at the kitchen table drinking tea. When he heard the knock and the voice, he quickly answered the door, smiling reassuringly at Squall.]

Come in, come in. Make yourself comfortable.

[After so long in the house by himself, it was good to have company again that wasn't over just to feed the animals.]

[Hesitantly Squall made his way into the house. He could only nod at Ukitake, and he mentally prepared himself to take the complete blame for what had happened between Rinoa and himself, even though it had been an accident. There was no way he'd let her suffer for his mistake.]

I'm here to talk to you about Rinoa actually.

[Her name caught his attention.]

Rinoa? Is she all right?

[Squall sighed, he wasn't backing down.]

Rinoa..she's fine. But I came to tell you that I kissed her..but it was an accident.

[...BlinkBlink. Uh.]

...An accident.

Squall shook his head.]

She was hugging me after listening to me whine about my problems. I went to get up, and kiss her cheek before I left the room. She'd turned her head and we..kissed. I backed right up, but I still wanted you to know.

[He sighed]

I don't want her to get into trouble because of me.

[Ukitake listened, and when Squall was finished, he shook his head and smiled gently.]

If you say it was an accident, then it was an accident. End of story.

[Squall nodded.]

Alright, I'll go now, but thanks for your time.

I appreciate your honesty.

[Ukitake reached out to pat Squall's cheek, still smiling.]

And if you had been to blame, she wouldn't be the one in trouble.

[He turned at the sound of those words, hearing what went unspoken. He nodded in understanding, and he would've taken whatever Ukitake felt like dishing out had he chosen to without fighting back. Squall would protect Rinoa no matter what it personally cost him even though this had truly been an accident.]

[Squall shook his head. Birthdays in his eyes were always happy occasions and he honestly couldn't say that about himself or his life right now.]

Not for this situation exactly, but if you are mentally distracted, common sense isn't always at the top of your list.

I cannot say it is completely forgiven, as Albedo did cause quite a bit of trouble, but I am glad you're back.

I know...I remember every damn thing he did. But he wasn't thinking straight. It's...hard to explain, but as long as that bitch doesn't do something like that again, I think he'll be fine. Not sure I'll be comfortable coming back until I'm sure Albedo's not gonna start shooting lightning at you next time he gets out, though.

So you've noticed the people missing?

I've seen a couple posts that look suspicious, but I hadn't jumped to conclusions. What do you know?

Hitsugaya and I are trying to figure out where they are... but both Hinata and Remus' PCDs are offline and neither have them have been seen since their PCDs had gone missing. And Remus' recording was a little weird, near the end of it. His friend James sounded concerned by something.

I did a fire reading and they're in an attic somewhere, but I don't know where. The Animus are interfering with my powers.

That is not good news. I think it would be best to keep this somewhat private. There's no need to scare everyone if we are unsure of the situation.

Are you able to tell if they're alive or unhurt?

[She's quiet for a long moment, Ukitake. Blame Hitsu.]

Hitsugaya says they're in Elric's old mansion. He gave me the coordinates for it.

[She sends them over.]

And he says Rhode is with them. I don't know whether or not she's the one who put them there, but if she's there...well. You're right on keeping this private. The more panic there is, the worse the event will get. People are already freaking out as it is.
