[When Ukitake shows up on the network, he is no longer wearing his Japanese clothing.  No, he has been affected like everyone else, and is wearing a gentleman's attire, his hair pulled back into a ponytail again.]

This is fun, though I find myself not entirely comfortable in the tightness of these sleeves or trousers.  There's no breathing room!

[But he waves it off, because it could be a lot worse, and he knows that.]

And to think, another year in the life of Ukitake-san has gone by.  How many more will I see, I wonder?

Alright... Trying to decide where I should take up... well, residence, I suppose, on a more permanent basis, for however long I'm to be here, at least. Other than that, yes, sir. The weather is... rather nice this time of year again.
