Cough 055 - [Video]

[A figure of white is seen laying down on his stomach next to a pond. The haori is clearly seen, though what number on the back is hard to make out, but the white hair is a dead giveaway. However, Ukitake's hair is fluffier than normal, and there is a pair of white, round ears peeking out from his hair on top of his head. The tip of his nose is black in contrast, though, as he looks almost longingly into the water at his new reflection.]

...I know I shouldn't, but I really have this urge to go swimming.

[He dips one of his hands (still human, mind you) into the water and splashes some away from him, looking up to follow the ripples the action creates. Ukitake smiles at the sight.]

Still a little cold. Spring should be here soon, though.

I see. [That makes Ami all the more aware of how little she really knows about the Shinigami.

And that reminds her of something else.] Ah~! We've never been properly introduced! I'm Mizuno Ami.

[He bows his head and smiles.]

A pleasure, Mizuno-san. I am Ukitake Jyuushirou.

It's very good to know you, Ukitake-san.

I am glad you think so.

[Ami blinks.] Um... Not to be rude, but is there some reason I shouldn't? [Back home, she might have just taken that in stride. Here though... she's had that reaction several times from people who think she should already have some big bad judgment against.]

Oh, no. I just like everyone to get along. I apologize for any confusion.

[She smiles, but shakes her head.] You don't have to. I, too, like everyone to get along.
