Cough 061 - [Video]

[Ukitake is outside of his house, hair wet and water dripping off the clumped-together edges.  He looks tired, but...

...it's not raining on him.]

I've put up some barriers around the house.  If the weather doesn't get too horrible, they should hold and we should be dry.

[He looks off to the side and then points his PCD to the fish pond.  Which is getting rather soggy around the edges.]

My concern is if this floods.  Water travels underground and I could extend the kidou through the ground, but even I am unsure how deep it needs to go.  In the event that the water gets out of hand, we'll....need to drain the pond.

[And it sucks because he loves that pond, loves the fish inside, but if the house is in danger, then he will have to make sacrifices.  Dammit.]

Just keep an eye on things and try to stay safe. And dry-

[And he is interrupted by a cough, though it's not as horrible as it can be.

But.  The potential for worsening is always there.]

[Well, the name sounds Asian, and she's met enough people here to know that, even if they customarily give their family names first, they'll sometimes switch it around for people who appear to be Western. However, given his use of an honorific, she's going to assume he's more traditional and hope she isn't making a fool of herself.]

It's nice to meet you, Mr. Ukitake. I hope you feel better soon.
