Cough 055 - [Video]

[A figure of white is seen laying down on his stomach next to a pond.  The haori is clearly seen, though what number on the back is hard to make out, but the white hair is a dead giveaway.  However, Ukitake's hair is fluffier than normal, and there is a pair of white, round ears peeking out from his hair on top of his head.  The tip of his nose is black in contrast, though, as he looks almost longingly into the water at his new reflection.]

...I know I shouldn't, but I really have this urge to go swimming.

[He dips one of his hands (still human, mind you) into the water and splashes some away from him, looking up to follow the ripples the action creates.  Ukitake smiles at the sight.]

Still a little cold.  Spring should be here soon, though.

[Ukitake is not surprised when Urahara shows up out of nowhere, having felt his presence before he appears. The older Shinigami nods his head in greeting.]

_{[Humming quietly, he pours them each a cup of tea, pushing Ukitake's over to him and holding his own between his hands as he just sits and watches the polartakebear.]}

[Ukitake thanks him for his cup and sips it, trying to keep from burning his tongue at first. He can feel Urahara's eyes on him, but after his confession of sorts, he can't blame the other man.]

_{[Urahara doesn't move for the longest time, unusual for the usually energetic man. He seems quite content to simply take the other man in, eyes drifting along his face and hair, a small smile curving his lips up. Course that smile soon turns into a grin before he leans in and pets one of those cute little ears.]}

[That sudden touch makes Ukitake freeze, the cup held in both his hands. But at the same time he tilts his head into the touch, realizing that it feels nice.]

_{[The grin widens and so scritching behind polartakebear's ears commences!]}

[G-Giggle. Oh, damn you, Urahara.]

_{[Urahara's smirk is so very smug right now. And he'll just continue to pet you. So soft and cuddly.]}

[Slowly, Ukitake leans in to rest against Urahara's side, his eyes falling closed at the attention.]

_{[Humming quietly, Urahara just continues to stroke Ukitake's hair and scratch behind his ears, refraining from wrapping his arms around the other man just in case he should freeze and withdraw.]}

[Feeling quite content to just sit like this, Ukitake continues drinking his tea. Selfishly, Ukitake realizes it feels good to let someone spoil him again.]

_{[Grinning slightly, he tapped Ukitake's nose.]}

[Ukitake hums in his throat and starts to curl up a little bit.]

_{[This is Urahara, hiding his smile in Ukitake's fluffy hair.]}

[He brings his knees up to his chest, but still leans against Urahara.]

_{[Humming quietly, he idly plays with polartakebear's hair before reaching up and tugging lightly on one of his furry ears with a grin.]}
